Searching For A Pink Microwave Oven

Wanting to buy a pink microwave might seem absurd to some people, but I don't agree. When I saw a picture of one, I knew I had to have one. Thus started the venture to getting a working microwave. This is not easy, though, having one in my awesome classic kitchen makes it totally justified!

It is very appealing in today's world you can find microwaves in wide choices of color. You can be just a bit different, and buy a black microwave, or you can go all the way and get a blue microwave. Or, probably, you are retro-girly like me and you prefer a pink microwave.

Depending on your style and preferences, and budget, you may want to start looking for a second hand microwave. They are in fact easier to find than a brand new one. The ones in the shop tend to be limited edition and sell out quickly. If you check out a site such as craigslist or ebay, you may be able to find some second hand piece which are still operating well.

Take your time when searching for these. You don't necessarily want to acquire the first one you find (except, of course, the first one you find is excellent!). Pink microwaves are available in many different tints of pink and in several different styles. A neon pink microwave in 80's style will look a lot different in your kitchen than a pastel-y pink in a 50-60's style would. When looking at these microwaves, ensure they will go well in your kitchen and match your personal preference.

This is not a job that I would go DIY with (and I enjoy DIY!). If you cannot find a pink microwave that you like and you want to paint one that you own. I highly recommend you stop and think ahead. A microwave gets hot and gives out radiation. If the paint reacts badly to the heat and/or radiation, then you could have a quick, bad fire. You do not want this!

If you happen to be on the lookout for a microwave, just look around and see what kinds of cool colors you can find. A blue or pink microwave will usually be cooler than a black one.
